How do I remove the TSSM?
2003 Nightrain. What do I do to get access to the TSSM to remove it so I can test the connections and verify if the TSSM is dead or the left turn signal is faulty. My left signal turns on immediately when the bike is on at times, and will turn on randomly while driving. I have checked the bulb sockets and they are all clean and dry. The local harley shop says it could be the TSSM or the left turn signal switch.
Help please before I throw money at the dealer to fix it...

Unless I'm mistaken it should be under the seat with the battery and the rest of the electronics.
And if your that interested in fixing your own bike.
I strongly suggest you invest in a service manual.
The money and time it will save you over the long haul makes it one of the few if not only thing you can buy for the bike that will actually pay for itself.

Your TSSM is located in front of the rear tire splash shield. Jack up the rear of the bike, remove the splash guard and it will be visible. If you have a fuel injected bike, the TSSM and ECM must be sequenced to each other. You can perform this sequencing yourself. You'll need a battery charger and 30 minutes of time.
