Proximity Alarm not working
I have an 08 Fatboy with the factory proximity alarm. Today I went for a ride and was 3 miles away from my house when I realized my key fob was at home. The key fob was in the house, more then 50' away from my bike when I started it for the ride. My problem is obvious to me "the proximity fob is not disabling my ignition" the solution is not so obvious. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

first question would have to be.. when you stop the bike and turn it off, do the lights flash? meaning.. is the system enabled? that was my first thought if the fob isn't keeping the bike from being started, that the system isn't on.

Get out your owners manual and learn how to decipher the codes as well as how to enable/disable it.

If you don't see your lights flash then the system is disabled, either by personal input or defect.

Yeah, at no point do the turn signals flash. The key icon on my speedometer is on for 4 seconds when I turn the ignition on, weather the fob is present or not

I've read the owner manual 3 times, I just don't see where it explains how to turn it on
