Default Where could this oil leak be coming from????

I have an 03 fatboy and have never had a leak. I changed my engine oil yesterday and when I woke up this morning I had a huge oil leak. It appears to be running down from back behind where the oil sits. I dont know or see what could have happened.

Check your breather filter located just upward and a little behind of the oil plug in the oil tank. It`s attached to a hose coming from the crankcase. Chances are it`s plugged; replace it.

Also check the rubber elbow that attaches the oil drain down tube to the tank.

Ya didn't pull the drain hose off of the tank when you were changing oil did you? Might want to check to see if that is where it is leaking.

No I just put it on my jack like normal and removed the plug, I will check but I cant really tell. There is no room and way for me to see behind there.

If you look up from the bottom just fwd or behind the brace that comes across that the drain fitting is hooked to and you can see the hose going on up to bottom of tank.

Mine leaks a little bit from the rubber 90 degree fitting on the back of the tank for the drain hose. Of course last time I changed my oil I completely forgot about it. I also have an 03 softail.
