Thumbs up American Made Leatherworks Saddlebags

[B]After receiving all the helpful support I needed from Leatherworks,
I chose the hand crafted Pony Express 103 Mail Bag with the
permanent mounting brackets for my Softail Slim.

I much prefer hand quality made leather saddlebag
over the mass produced machined stamped ones.

Going for more of a vintage look the bags work out as planned.

I've looked at this company before myself but I'm looking for a solo saddle bag with an outside bottle pocket. The last time I looked they didn't seem to have that as an option. They had planty of add on options but that wasn't one of them.

I like the look of those bags and they seem small enough to not be overpowering. D they make those in quick detach for a Train?

I'd be interested in finding one of those too.

Call them. They can and will do some custom work. Hands down, a great product by a great american company! I have the same bags and no complaints about them.

Email them and ask if they can make you a bag with an attached bottle holder.

La Rosa makes a solo bag with an attached bottle holder. Click here. I haven't heard great things about the quality of their bags, though.

As luck would have it I missed getting it right the first time.
So I lowered my permanently mounted saddlebags to a more suitable position.

Lowered looks better. Leathworks does make quality products and are very good people to work with.
