Jagg 10-pass oil cooler install onto Breakout
#41
I'm doing an oil cooler maybe this winter, maybe sooner.. anything to help keep my 107" a bit cooler. I'm torn between this one and the Ultracool Reefer.. Though I'm leaning more towards the reefer. Simply because I like the look of the low-mounted cooler a bit more than having something mounted to my downtube, and the fan assisted Jagg model is $126 more than the Reefer.

Oil temperature results on today's ride continued, and extended, my appreciation for just what a good oil cooler can do.
After 41 miles, in 80 degree ambient outdoor temperature, the oil temperature read at only 204.
Later, after a 1 hour stop at a coffee shop to meet with friends, and then a 9 miles ride to the gas station near home, in 84 degree ambient temperature, the oil temperature was only 184 degrees.
