Nope, I just used the stock tank. You are definitely right though, I could have made a few bucks but I just didn't have the time to funk around putting it on ebay and getting a new tank.

I like your idea on the fender. I too found a fender wide enough. I frenched in the Deuce taillight, then the license plate box (too small for my plate, had to trim it) and removed the swirl at the end of the plate. I also needed to drill holes for the struts and I don't use the inner fender brackets.
