Figured I might as well make a new thread. Been waiting over 3 months for my wheels to be built and finally got them and have been able to tear into the new project. 23 x 3.5 front avon 130 and an 18 x 5.5 rear avon 200. Long story short I waited a hell of a long time to get the wheels and have now had issues finding someone local to mount the 23. Had a shop get it half mounted and give up then only to realize they put the tire on backwards... Fml. At the moment I've got a new guy giving it a whirl. Got the rear wheel all mounted and fitting perfect and as of last night I chopped and widened the rear struts. Tomorrow I'll be cutting and fitting the new fender and then I'm pretty much good to go with the rear end just gotta send it all off for powder. Here's some pics as of now...

That is SICK!! Did you have to do anything to the swing arm to accommodate the extra width?

Nope it's the same swingarm as all the other 200mm softails. I guess it's one of the perks of Harley trying to save money haha

I thought I was playing the waiting (6 weeks so far) for my wheels, but it looks like you beat me to that. Looking good! Keep us updated

Took me 5 months to receive 1 wheel

Not sure why the blacklines aren't more popular, I personally think they are a great looking bike. The new wheels and tyre will look right at home, nice work!

It's getting there.

I already have a 200 on the back of mine, I just need the 23" spoke for the front, but it may be a while due to my current financial situation.

I hope that rear wheel on pic 7 of 11 isn't mounted and ready to go?

From the picture, it looks like the front half of the bike is a bit to the left and the rear half is a bit left, looks crooked?

??

No that was as I was taking it back off after test fitting. If you look you can see the axle isn't all the way through and I had the adjusters backed almost all the way out...
