Stage II - Powdercoat Cylinder Question Crossbones
Hi so I have a dumb question. I just did a stage II 103 kit for my crossbones. The problem is while the new cylinders are black they have a silver edge which doesn't match the look of the rest of the engine (stock cylinders were all black including edges). Is my only option to remove and powder coat the whole cylinders? Thanks for any guidance.

I would call your local powder coater and see what they say. If they have a color that matches, they may be able to just coat the exposed metal.

NO -- thats no you're only option...
you could paint it or buy some chem's that are made to turn Alum Black..
Check out the Web for diff ways and chems..
Might call a PC business to see if they can do something without tearing her down again...??

Don't laugh, but I have blacked some pieces with a big black magic marker.
Works best with small pieces and won't last forever, but, hey, cheap and easy and would do no harm
