Stock Fatboy Lo solo. Looking for a good looking and more comfortable seat. Corbin, Danny Gray, or C&C.

 

Mine is a LePera silhouette solo. It's comfortable for me up to around 400 miles in a day. Beyond that and I'll use an Airhawk. Many others find the LePeras very hard/uncomfortable. I guess everyone's *** is different.

Beware though; whilst the LePera Barebones is the best looking seat I've come across and looks similar to the silhouette, it is much much less comfortable.

Would I buy it again? Soon after I first got it, I thought I'd made a mistake. But it has "broken in" since then and I'm pretty happy with it. But I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to try out a Danny Gray buttcrack. Sadly, trying out things like seats is pretty difficult from the UK, so my options are limited.

 

Stock seat very comfortable for long rides.


Le Pera Barebones not bad for 200 miles or so. It's still new but getting better.

 

Mustang Tripper Solo. Haven't been on any long trips but have spent 5-6 hours (minus gas stops) on with no problems.
I like it and would buy it again. I'll keep my stock seat for touring.

 

looking for solo seat myself. Have a swap meet this weekend at local HD hopefully I get lucky.

 

Lepara bare bones seat not comfortable for longer rides at all wish i woulda got the biker gel but i love the look of the seat though

i have a vintage mustang solo that i wouldn't buy again. it was way better than stock but i had it reshaped and gel put in it. it would be nice if dealerships would let you rent seats for a few days to see if they are something you want to commit to.

 

C&C Solo in my sig pic. No complaints, can ride all day.
