Default Muffler turning blue

Anybody ever used Blue Job to remove the blue discolorization on their pipes or have any recommendations? Just completed a 5400 mile bike ride and the pipes have started to turn blue. Did a forum search, but found nothing on the subject.

Blue Job will do the trick. Does require some elbow grease. Be careful not to scratch the chrome. Note: if your heat shields are turning blue you may be running lean and hot.

Yeah, I know it was running lean. About 3500 miles of my trip was 4000 feet or above. Some above 7000 feet nd a little around 10000. A lot of mountain time and no interstates, so I know it leaned out. The mufflers have turned blue and kind of gold where they connect to the pipes.

Any thing special I should know about using the blue job. I don't want to screw up my pipes.

Never used it but I hear its good stuff, only advise I'd give is once you've taken the lid off the tin don't drop it as from what I hear you get very little of the polishing powder and its expensive.
Watch the video on this site.

Well, gave it a try and it seems to have worked fairly well. I still see a little blue and gold, and a few stains, but its better. I'll give it a second shot tomorrow when it's cooler and the lighting is better.
