I was getting ready to take a short ride to try out my handle bars after I adjusted them last night, and my daughter said she wanted to go with. So I told her to get dressed and off we went....she's been bitten by the bug. I was told that she's ready when ever I want to go back out on another ride. She turns 10 next month, but I can see her on her own Sporty some day....

 

Mine could ride when her feet could reach the pegs. One of my favorite memories will always be our Daddy/Daughter days at Cedar Point amusement park when she was in grade school (then junior high,) one time each year, usually in June, out there and back on the Ultra. (Momma didn't like roller coasters and stayed home...)

 

I swear I could have written that my self. Took my 11 year old out and she couldn't get the smile off her face. Hopefully you two will have many daddy/daughter rides together, before she's embarrassed to be with dad

 

Mine turns 10 at the end of this month and she has been riding with me for about 2 1/2 years already. I had help from the Kuryakyn adjustable passenger pegs because without them her feet wouldn't reach. They will probably be coming off next year. She has been bitten by the bug also and is already talking about what color she wants her Sportster to be.

 

That's great, who had the biggest smile on their face, you or your daughter?

 

Nice. looking forward for when i take my daughter (almost 6 now) on her first ride. She gets excited by the thought of washing the bike with me.

 

Mine rode with me since 12 when I got my first Harley...
She's 23 now and just got her license and bought a 2006 Sportster Low in May. She is doing great with it.

 

Can't wait to take my daughters out on a ride. They are 3 and 1. Both love Harley's and the oldest has a battery powered bike for now.

 

Cherish those days....

 

I started taking my youngest boy out on rides at about that age. He has been riding ever since.
