Default 2012 blackline w seat rub

So i have a 2012 blackline. Always ran the stock seat. Im going to be swapping to the danny gray buttcrack solo and pillion. I took my seat off yesterday to see about removing the plastic film and i have rub marks on my fender from the stock seat! Its right off the edge of the plastic film. What can i do to remove these marks?
Should my warranty cover this since its from factory equiptment?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I used the 3M scratch removal kit to polish out those seat scratches and the marks the dash and tank bib left on the tank when I did the dash swap. Ended up doing almost the entire fender and tank, with great results. Follow the instructions and take your time and it'll look better than factory.

Amazon Amazon

Whether its covered by warranty or not, I have no idea.

What paint do you have? Gloss or Denim? If it is denim, you are screwed pretty much unless you want to make it shiny. If it is gloss, you should be able to help it by polishing. As for warranty if your bike is a 2012 it doesn't likely have one anymore, so I doubt that would help.

Its gloss. The vivid black. Im pretty sure i got the extended warrenty. But i dont know if they will even cover it due to being cosmetic. But it is due to manufacture defect in my eyes...

I'd run it by the dealer, worst they can do is say no. But If they wont warrenty it, just pick with some Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 from an auto parts store. Stuff is amazing!

The aftermarket warranty is not going to cover paint issues. Just polish it out the best you can and move on.
