What's considered high mileage?

I'm looking at a 2002 with only 16,000 miles. I know its low but i know for motorcycles 30,000 is a lot, right?

That's low mileage for that year bike. Remember you can run them 100K miles if you take care of it. I would ask the seller for a service and repair record..

Default 07 ultra 95000 hope to go another 100

Stock 96 inch nothing but regular maintenance. And a rear brake line that should have never failed.

Lord I hope 30K is not high mileage.
I just crossed over 20K and I was hoping for at least 80K before I have to have major work done.

Check the tensioners is the only recommendation I have. The bottom end that year is near bullet proof. 16,000 is nothing on an '02.

Sleep well. My bike has 50K and running strong. No problems except a stator dropped dead at 22K. Ride with a guy that has 75K on his and his is the same as mine.

It's only high mileage to a dealer that you want to trade with!

You should be able to get an easy 100,000 out of it before any work, with routine maintenance.

16K on an 2002 is suspiciously low. Makes me curious if the speedometer has been replaced at some time.

I just turned 30k on mine and I started riding it in December '12. And we mainly ride on weekends but not every weekend.

That engine is just broken in! Get the cam chain tensions looked at/ replaced and you should be good for many miles.
