Default 87 Heritage with Evo changed to 96 cu in motor

Hey everyone, I'm new here. I am buying an 87 Heritage that had the evo motor changed to a 96 cu in. I don't know much and neither does the guy I'm buying from - he bought it from a guy that was leaving the island blah blah.
Bike seems to have plenty of power, but I won't know until I start riding it.

Questions I have are:

Do any of you have any experience upgrading evo to 96?

Does the twim cam they started using when HD changed to 96 make a real dif?

Any thoughts about anything related to the old Heritage?
