Killer Bare Bones Metal Flake La Pera seat for softail...CHEAP!
Up for grabs is this awesome la pera seat for a softail. American made! don't but some cheap *** tiwan seat for 400 bucks. This thing has crazy style with its metal flake green and dimond stiching. The pics don't don't do it justice! this seat is mint!
First one with 75 bucks gets it!

Couple of questions, because I am very interested.
What years does it fit?
I do not see the brackets on the sides, to bolt it down to the frame. Also do not see the "tongue" bracket that sticks out from the front of the seat, to slide under the frame tab, to secure it down in the front.
Are these available, or does the seat merely just sit down into the frame and can be pulled out at any time?
Also, is there a way to attach a passenger pillion, or is it strictly a "solo" seat?
Please let me know ASAP, because I would like to buy it if it will fit my bike, and has the hardware.

I got this seat hoping it would fit on my bike but no such luck (I have a sporty project, not a softail) my lose your gain for 75 bucks. If you look at the 2nd pic from the bottom you can see 3 small holes on the pan, they are threaded so you could throw a tab in the front with just a simple screw I would imagine. It does not have side mounting tabs, I believe this is to keep it more streamline, if you look at the la pera bare bones with the tabs it has those longer sides unlike this one. it does have a threaded hole on the "backrest" lip part of it that could be mounted to the fender (look at pic 2 from bottom agin in the felt area). This bare bones seat can either be slapped on and just ridin the way it is you you can throw a tab in the front...either way will work. as far as a passenger seat, I don't think it has one that will attach to it but a pillion pad always works for any seat if you put it on the rear fender.
Here is a a bare bones like i think you were talking about, notice the tabs that make the seat a little more bulky that this one....this one is meant to fit right in that nook and stay there.
and hell this seat below is 230 bucks for a plain seat!

hope that answered your questions

Hi man,
I doubt this seat can be just put on and ridden, that is very dangerous I am thinking, the front tap alone is not enough, you need the two side mounts to secure it to your frame.
If it does not have the side mounts, then maybe it was not made for a softail specifically but rather for custom builds.
The colors are amazing you are right but the link you posted for the lepera seat if you look carefully you will find the taps right there.
I have the lepera barebones solo and plush two up and they are super quality.

alot of chopper seats just sit in the knook, if they are built right they work...especially with suspension. the link i posted was to the seat described above to show the difference in shape and streamline of the seat...i was not saying it was the same seat...if you don't think it is a softail seat.... http://www.lepera.com/exotic_detail.asp?id=35
well be safe in those rough places man thanks for looking
