Reduced prices - 2 seats for Breakout
I bought my 2014 Breakout new at the beginning of March.I first switched from the stock seat to the HD "Reach seat" within a few hundred miles, and then switched from the Reach seat just a few days ago (at 3100 miles) to a Corbin seat that includes both the rider and passenger seats in one seat.
So, I have 3 seats to sell, that may help others who want to replace a damaged seat, or to get a seat to use as a pan and foam base for a customized seat:
*** SOLD *** Stock Harley Breakout seat: This seat is in perfect condition - no wear and no damage. $65 shipped to continental USA.
***SOLD*** Harley "Reach seat": This seat moves the rider about one inch forward and a fraction of an inch lower. This specific seat has had a gel pad built into it by Steelhorse Bob, a custom seat builder here in Austin, Texas. That really made the seat more comfortable, as it compensated for the thinner foam layer in the HD Reach seat (that is how HD gets the seat lower for shorter legged riders). It made the shorter reach and lower profile not only nice to look at but also reasonably comfortable. But, then my wife complained that the passenger seat that attaches to either the stock or Reach seat is too thin and too small for her, and I started to plan some tours, so I threw in the towel and ordered a Corbin seat. This Reach seat with gel pad is in perfect condition - no wear and no damage, and Steelhorse Bob put it together way better than the factory did when he added the gel. $99 shipped. (The gel pad addition itself cost more than this).
Harley stock passenger seat: This seat is in perfect condition (my wife used it only ONCE and for only 30 minutes). No wear and no damage. $39 shipped to continental USA.
All 3 seats have been kept maintained supple via Lexol leather treatment, and have only ever been exposed to The Sun during actual rides.
