OH ....forgot to ask what is the name of my color that you had before this fantastic paint job you now have? Was it called Sterling ? I have forgotten. Thanks PET
Texas, thanks for posting the photo for me, wasn't quite sure how to. Dakota, it is called sterling grey. Thanks for the comment, I'm done for awhile, I think.
Just got the Fatboy back on the road after wreck in Oct. 2007. My wife and I were taking our Saturday ride and had a cager make a quick stop in front of us. We were doing about 45mph. I hit the brakes hard and started to slide. I had to release the brakes and turn off the road to avoid hitting the car. Just my luck, there was a drainage ditch on that side of the rode, so did the Evil Kenival Canyon jump. Made it accross to the other side of the ditch , then went down hard. It knocked me out and my wife got a broken wrist out of the deal. We both did the Grady run and she got out that night, but I was there for 3 days with a concussion. We both are very lucky to have got off that easy. Just wanted to post a picture of the bike after I did the repairs and got her up and running. Glad to be back on the road, but the wife is not going to be taking to the road with me. Maybe after a few months she will get back on the horse. Be safe out there.
Good to be back. Realy like the Beach Bars on your bike. I could use that 6 speed you got to. Looks like winter is almost over here in Ga., so time to get back out on the road. I missed 3 months while I was building the bike back up.
