Hi there being new on this web site I would like to ask a question. I own a Softail Standard 1450 but I changed my normal handle bars to 16'' ape hangers I also got a wind screen on my bike but doing 75 MPH its hard to control the bike because the handle bar / wheel move from side to side, like very wobbly.

Regards.

Did you change the riser bushings when going with the apes?

Hi JeffJA thanks for reply. No I did not change any bushing, but I will look into doing that.

its worth a try, swap them out with a set of poly bushing, less flex might help with some vibs/wobble?
also, just check to make sure all the nuts and bolts on the front end are tight and torqued to spec.
