Not every one likes'em. But if the roads you ride on mostly are rough, a guard can save you cash in the long run
Not a bad idea..the roughs can be ugly around here sometimes.

Im trying to figure out what to do with my long forward controls first before I buy anything..its either

-Buy a different seat to get me closer to the tank
-Find somebody to swap everything to go back to stock
-Buy the same brand controls and swap it for something slightly shorter
-Grow longer legs

There's a Corbin bein sold in the softail B/S/T section for $150
Have one like it and cost me $550 new
I'm 5'7 and keeps me in the perfect spot

Floors, but I reach the shifter with out issues. I belive the shifter's are in the same position on all bigger bikes

Love the side bag...had one on my last bike. I kind of want to run one on my Softail.

Floor boards are stock FLS issue. Bag was a gif from my son. Don't have the hesrt to replace it with a bigger one. Can barely fit glasses, wallet phone and a bottle of water in it.
My wife's bike now sports my old throw overs. So it's there in case I need to haul stuff.
