Thanks fellas. Your Luxes were the ones that started it all. I wanted something different that I don't see here in the Phoenix area, and the Cali look was it. Besides, I'm originally from Riverside, so I was a step ahead of the game out here.

We displayed our bikes in the Motopsycho Magazine booth at the DUB show in Berdoo. We took six bikes down there. Had a great time with good friends and lots of badazz rides to check out.

Not to steal any credit from the guys you're referring to, but the look you are calling "Cali" has been around for a while in Hawaii. They call the bikes "Local Boys." Didn't start really seeing it anywhere else so much until the last two or three years. My best friend lived in Hawaii and used to send me pics of those bikes with the 21s in front under the FL fender, with apes or beach bars, and fishtails. Lots of them were made out of pre-evo FLHs. Just thought ya'll might be interested to know that.

Doesnt look like the front right bike would turn very well with the bars like that. Espcially on a city street.

Yeah... that's my friend Jr's Deluxe. He swears they're comfortable... I don't know about that... I have enough trouble turning with my 39's... here's a couple of better shots of his ride:

Sweet bikes you all have in your group. What kind of bars are those on the bike with the slammed down bars. Are they Burly long horns? They look longer than the 38.5" Burly BB. Maybe its just the angle. I tried mine down low like those when i first did install. But just didn't work out. The look is awsome though.
