Mind sharing how you mounted the springer bags? I have an 06 Deluxe just trying to figure out how I should go about it.

Bag mounting ...
Softail Heritage Springer Bag's
the bags bolt right up w/o any drilling or anything modified ...used 4 stainless 3.5-4" 3/8" bolts ..after bolting them up check the clearance between the bolt and tire underneath ...cut bolts flush with inside of fender ...and purchase the two lower bag mounts that mount to where the rear passenger pegs would be ...
only other thing i did was add a 3/8" (about 1/8" thick) SS washer on each bolt between the bags and fender to keep the flap from rubbing the fender when the bag is opened ...
hope this helps !!
we think these are the best looking bags for the deluxe ...!!!
they can still be had from harley , just not with the fringe anymore ...well i say that ...it may be the colored piping thats not available anymore ...

Very cool, thanks, I got the bags some time ago from eBay. I'm not sure which year but at some point Harley changed the fender struts. Probably around 2007 to add an extra hole. Very cool go no, will definitely help out when I Instal.
