96B&B just noticed you have your pipe black now. Looks good man, any better pics of it? I'm going to try and get my TH wrapped this weekend, I love how the black came out.

Got the TH wrapped tonight. First time I ever wrapped a pipe, what a b!tch to start with a TH. Had a few problems. First I started wrapping it the wrong way so had to start over. Then I misjudged how much I needed for the big back wrap. Kept coming up short so after three attempts I had to start further back on the muffler which is why you see chrome. I'll need to touch that up. Didn't have any gloves so I'm itchy, feels like I was laying insulation, LOL.

Overall don't think I did too bad for a first time. But like I said two little pipes as opposed to the big TH would have been much easier for a first time attempt.

 

i wrapped mine from the other direction,made it a little easier when the headers got close together.i also painted a coupla coats right over the wrap and let it sit a day or two.it smoked and smelled at first fire up but it wears off.can't wait to see them mounted skully looks good

That's the ticket 96.Looks so much better than the stocker. Mine looked as neat as yours skullhead till I backed it off the lift and tore the bottom of it all to hell.Looks good and you'll like the heat relief.

signal bracket came from J&P.....here's my plate mount during fab

 

after paint,chrome bolts and acorns. run light wires behind plate and zip tie to swingarm

 

So what do you think? I'm loving the look!!!

 

don't know why TH doesn't sell them like that,looks so much better than original.big pat on the back to ya!
