Wish I had seen it earlier, its been a great read. I am playing with two upgrade ideas, and would be great to hear some thoughts. First, I am thinking to do my heads…Currently running on a mikuni with ev27. Just put in a Dyna single fire ignition. Tho I love the X pipes for looks they are quiet and lack real grunt. Wondering if there is any point going further with the motor unless I change the pipes.

The other thing I am considering is dropping the front and inch. How much ride quality am I going to lose if I do this. I totally love this bike…its my fav of all the ones I have had over the years. There is just something about the Bad Boy that sets it totally apart. And over here they are rare as hens teeth. But the question is…will I be trashing the ride by trying to nail the look?

Miss that Bad Boy everyday. Just had to let her go after 2 wrecks in 18 months. Think she was pissed I took her out of the warmth of Florida. I'll get another, if the tax man will leave me alone that is..

Well spotted. its the tax disc holder…over here we have to have the road tax disc visible on all vehicles…although, you have just reminded me that as of March this year its all computer based so we won't be needing them any more…So that will be another bit of tack I can pull off and ditch.
