Peggers - Right on man! Had me worried a bit, as I hadn't heard from you since I mailed them out. I Knew they would look awesome on a longer rear end. Put up a few more pics of the "after"
Glad you like them.

Not a fan of the stock rear end, so that will have to go, along with the front fender.

So, to recap, I bought this tired 'Bones from a local policeman.
He had started converting into a bobber, adding a shortened rear fender, RSD narrow vintage apes, and a skinny saddle. He also put some awful stickers on it (see above) and some of those tiny mirrors you can't see out of, and tiny blinkers that you also can't see. Replaced the stock horn with a cheap air horn, and added a bag on the left side swing arm, and a side mount tail light and number plate.
At this point he got bored, replaced the stock rear fender and seat, and put her up for sale. Sad, soiled, and worse for wear, she sat in the shop waiting for me - I found her after she had been sat there for about 5 months, and the guy was ready to take a deal. Unfortunately here in the UAE HDs hold their value pretty well, and even with a price drop of 20% I still had to fork out over $13,000.
But I had what I had always wanted, a Crossbones of my very own!
I set about gathering the spares that I needed, and rode the bike to get used to it, as I decided what I was going to do.
First was to get those narrow apes off and replace stock mirrors and indicators. Unfortunately the previous owner had lost them, or didn't care to look for them in his garage, so I scrounged some stock mirrors and indicators from my good friend Maher "Big Daddy" Rabbani at Strokerz Middle East.
Next I added a set of HD narrow beach bars, and a detachable windshield - a look I have always admired on Springers, but alas, I couldn't stand the feel. I must point out that both of my other bikes have apes: Scarlett is a '10 CVO Ultra Classic with 14" apes from LA Choppers, and Jezebel is a '14 Street Glide with 14" Mayhem bars from KST. Now those KST bars have the most perfect feel, looks to die for, and made from polished stainless steel. I pestered Brett at KST to make me a set that would go onto the 'Bones, but after months of reminding him, I just kinda gave up. Sad really, because they would have been perfect....
Anyway, around this time, I got sent by my company to run a project in Qatar, a nearby territory. Work was going to be hectic so I dropped the bike off at Strokerz, with some instructions, and a few parts I had collected of eBay.
Did I mention that I have spent the best part of two months trawling this forum for ideas?

As far as I could take it on my own, and still keep ridin' every day.
