I sheared the crank in that motor. I bought a bone stock one with 2500 miles on it for $1000 beans. It's a turd after my old motor. Figured it would be a fifth of the price to turbo it then rebuild my other one. Worth a shot anyway. How's thing been around here? Seems pretty quiet.
Yeah, I'd probably do the same. I haven't been around much either, but I perk up when I get a notification on this thread. Everybody is getting into the bagger scene.
Sounds like a fun project, Lund! How you been?
How about you, Bob? All well?
I went to a bagger for a bit after I couldn't get my Train right after the accident. Got rid of that for a little more power and comfort.......
Hey Bob....how are things? I got into a bagger(s) but also re-aquired my original night train a few months ago. Gathering parts to make some changes to it now....going to go with a blacked out fat boy front end and heartland rear end.
Chuck....you got rid of the SG and picked up the Boss Hoss? How it that working out?
You don't have to split lanes with it, just twist the throttle and pass them at over 100mph in the blink of an eye..... Lol!
The Boss is fun Gary! Had a Porshe behind me one day squeezing his tires at the stop signs.. Opened it up once on the back roads. I stopped pushing at 120mph, dropped down to 80 and let him pass. Got a nice thumbs up....
Congrats on getting the Train back. Sounds like you got nice plans for it.
No leaves on the trees, brown grass but it's been in the 50's with no snow here in the northeast. Pic from Sunday. Went on a quick mid day ride. Calling for 60's here early next week. For mid Dec. I ain't complaining!
Cleaned up and minor detail changes…total rake now 38 degrees and engine update to the Screamin’ Eagle 103 pro race kit III. Ready for the winter storage.
