Hey all! New guy to the HD forums and going to be buying a Breakout here in the next few months as a 30th Birthday gift to myself.
Love all the different looks going on here. Making a list of WANTS for mine thats for sure! Im still fairly new to the Harley world but have been riding motorcycles for a good amount of years now. I wont kill you all with questions just yet....lots of research to do it looks like.

Im a HUGE fan of Blackout look so one of my top questions is CultLDR posted up a pic with a blacked out looking motor, is that aftermarket powdercoated? im guessing a full removal would need to be done to get that done properly?


Cant wait to join the Breakout group!

Went for a blast around yesterday and pulled over to snap a couple pictures of the setting sun...

 

Only thing I was able to do thus far is put on the Memphis Shades Bullet fairing. Love the look of it, love the ride. Happy with it thus far. I purchased the Willie G skull mirrors in chrome, but thinking now I need black mirrors. Been flipping through this thread and suddenly I'm leaning chrome pipes over black....up until now I was thinking I'd have black pipes! Now I'm not sure!!

Just got mine in MS Red delivered last Saturday, so not much point posting a pic of a bog standard BO, but loving the thread and have formed the basis of a plan for mods and here it is:

CVO wheels
CVO bars
Flush petrol filler cap
Remove belt guard
Dakota speedo in red
Plate sidemount - not legal here but don't care and neither do the cops
SERT & K&N filter
Those thingies that dress up the rear wheel spindle
Mufflers...Hmmm...
Footpegs....Hmmm...


Now, I called HD Bangkok today and they said I needed different risers for the CVO bars - can anyone confirm this?

Also, will the CVO wheels slot straight on?

 

 

HC - Do you know if I can just add a chrome visor/bezel to the stock headlight to make it look like yours? Also - did you ever PC your Triples? How much work..Pics?
