There is nothing to rewire. The new can bus systems have plugs that are small enough to pull through the bars. You just unplug them from under the tank, and pull them out of the old bars, then feed them through the new bars and plug them back in.

love those black fender struts (or whatever they call them) and the black taillights Aggie, who did your powdercoat? I am not that far away and would love to do the same thing to my bike. Was it difficult to take off, wiring etc? I am a total newb but can recruit a friend to hand hold if needed.
