Ouch! Well, hopefully you heal fast. When you are good to go, we'll drag them out and go.

I thought Leatherwood's on Summer Ave was closed. I could be wrong. I honestly don't know of any Indy shops in the Memphis area. I have used Bumpus HD out on Whitten Rd before. But for dyno tuning, I have no idea.

Welcome to the area. Munford/ Atoka area is nice. The wife and I have discussed looking out there when we are ready to move. Probably be a few years. I go ride out near Shelby Forrest sometimes. And also through Arkansas. The area itself isn't as scenic as some, but there is definitely some good riding around.

So I ended up using Bumpus off Kirby Whitten. Their tuner is young guy and is pretty good. He does 5th gear runs after the tune is complete... seems most tuners do 6th gear runs when they are show casing, but I did get a before and after comparison. While the rest of the shop seems good, they did have 1 tech that didn't know as much as I thought he should, but he is young and probably still learning. In fact, it seemed like most of their service department was younger than 30, but they are all gear heads and not just a guy with a job. None of them had ever touched an S&S crate engine or seen a DD7. Is was right around $400 for the tune.

Think I will try to come up with a project to see how Leatherwood's is so I have options if a shop is booked and my timeline won't match.

Chris

Edit: the bike I took them was a 13 CVO RK with an S&S HC 124 and DD7, using the Power Vision.
