NC people: 2013 Outerbanks Bike Fest?

less than a "rally" if you think in terms of Daytona, Sturgis, Laconia..... more like a bunch of dealerships holding an "open house" at the same time.
on the PLUS side... it's like the first week end of "spring" on the outer banks.... so the folks who work there are VERY welcoming to bikers. the "downside" is not everyplace is open.
Very nice place to be, and spend time riding... but, you're at the beach, so roads tend to be flat, and straight.
I enjoy it.... but I've yet to stop at any of the dealerships.... while one buddy of mine, that's all he does (yes.. there are the burn-out pits.... drunken hordes at various campgrounds, etc)

I've been there the last two years. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. The last two years I've only stayed a couple of nights. This year I got an extra week of vacation so I'll plan on being there the whole week. I even rented a house with a garage instead of a motel. I enjoy it because it's at the beach and a ton of stuff to see. I highly suggest if you go to the bars or whatever at night to walk or take a cab if you drink any. They don't put with too much at night with racing and drinking and driving. I plan on hanging at that house at night for the most part since it has a grill too.
