Anyone from Houston going down there? Looking for a group to ride with if possible. I have a buddy riding with as well. Looking for a larger pack. Always safety in numbers if you know what I mean. Looking to leave Friday morning.

So how was this years roar? Any photos of this years event?

 

It wasn't what I expected. Basically you had to ride everywhere, the Rally was segmented all over the place. The main vendor area was in a convention center so not conducive to much fun or crazyness. The concerts were across town...albeit a very small town. The most fun I had the whole weekend was at the Harley dealer and on the Poker Run. Opposed to the Lone Star Rally where there is a ton of stuff and partying right there at the Strand. Maybe I didn't know where to go for the Corpus Rally but we still had plenty of fun. Next year I think I am going to skip this one.

 

Yea it was like that when I went a few years a go, not a lot has changed. Nice glide Rocket67.

What part of Tejas are you in?

 

I'm currently finishing up a job in the Dallas area and in the process of moving back to the hill country,Kyle just south of Austin. If your ever in the area let me know, I'm always up for a ride around the hill country. We roll down to the island (Galveston) twice a year or so.

 

Definitely planning on hitting the three sisters (no pun intended but accepted) at some point but probably not until March or April. Weather is such now just taking day rides but am planning on a 3 day weekend as soon as it gets better.
