UPDATE: Easy Rider Prequil Screening In Tucson
Here is the latest on the Easy Rider, The Ride Back. We unfortunately will not be able to attend as we weill be a the Rocky Point Rally in Mexico. Not sure what hotel she is talking about, you can email her, or call her, and I will find out later and post that. If she has any questions tell her Kim and Steve with the FOG turned you on to this.
On Thursday, Nov 5th there will be a VIP sneak peek screening in Sierra Vista, Arizona of the new Easy Rider movie, officially called Easy Rider: The Ride Back. *The movie will be shown at the Uptown 3 Theater (4341 South HWY 92).
A series of activities are planned in Sierra Vista to promote the movie. Most of the activities require tickets, which are free but limited in number.
From 4:30-6:30pm there will be a Custom Cycle Display outside the theatre along with some of the bikes from the movie. This is open to the public.
From 4:30-8:00pm there will be an Easy Rider merchandise booth at the theatre selling tshirts & other movie memorabilia. This is open to the public.
From 4:30-6:00pm there will be a VIP reception at the event hotel. VIP tickets are required for admission.
At 5:30pm the Thunder Mountain HOG chapter lines up for the limo escort from the event hotel to the theatre. This is a closed TM-HOG event, abiding by their chapter rules, and requiring an official Escort ticket to participate. (Escort tickets do NOT provide admission to the reception, screening, or meet & greet.)
About 6:00pm the limos begin arriving at the theatre for the red carpet walk. There will be viewing spaces open to the public outside the theatre.
At 6:30 those possessing VIP or Guest tickets begin seating. Those with SCREENING tickets will seat at 6:50, with curtain at 7:00.
After the screening there will be a pay-your-own meet & greet at the Texas Roadhouse for those with VIP and GUEST tickets. Please note ESCORT and SCREENING tickets are not valid for entry. Although members of the public are able to dine there at the same time, we will have the back 1/2 of the restaurant closed off for this private party.
Discounted hotel rooms will be available for those wanting to stay at the event hotel in SV... details will be available early next week.
Ok, that's what is happening Thursday. Then on Friday....
Sierra Vista Harley Davidson has confirmed that from 11-3 on Friday, Nov 6th the Easy Rider bikes & stars & the bike builder will be at the dealership for photos. This is open to the public, 1st come activity, with a free on-site lunch! The Captain America II & the Billy Bike (the builder is Jack Lepler of AZ) will be there and hopefully 2 other bikes from the movie. Easy Rider biker babes and stud muffins will also be on hand.
Ok, so how do you get the tickets? VIP, Guest, and Screening tickets are available through Elite level sponsors (ie TM HOG, SV Harley) and the event coordinator (me). Anyone interested in an all-access media pass should contact me also, and yes, freelancers are eligible. The theatre will NOT have any tickets for sale. Limo Escort tickets are ONLY available through TM HOG.
