Are Houston riders kind of snooty? There are two threads for Houston riders and no one posts in either thread. You would think that a city of 4+ million people would have more riders posting in these threads.
The north side of Houston looks friendlier than the other parts.
In my own defense, I am not snooty. I am unsociable and a loner, but I enjoy seeing what others are doing.

I'm in southwest Houston near NRG/Astrodome, so I rarely travel north.
I only posed the question because some of the other area threads are very active with people posting about riding here or there or getting a group together to ride. Houston is the 4th largest city in the nation and no one here posts about meetups or rides. I just thought it was a little odd, cold and not at all friendly for a city this large.
I am not really in a position to comment since between 95 and 98 percent of my riding is solo. I only recently found a ladies group that I enjoyed riding with. They are not idiots like most of the riding groups in Houston. They all ride Harley's - no metrics in the group. It makes a big difference.
Hugs to all of the Houston riders out there.
