How many miles and hours are we looking at each day?
Going to be around 300 miles a day. Some days maybe a little less. Time wise it's hard to say. Mountain riding is slow, and it depends on the number of stops for photos, etc. I would guess around 8-10 hours a day with lots of stops.

If the 8-10 hours includes the time for stops, that doesn't sound too bad. Of course that's easy to say sitting here, not in pouring rain or whatever.

We are trying to make this ride as casual as possible. The first time we did it, we rode it in 5 days. Some of those were tough and long. That is the reason we are going to 7 days. I have been over every route we will be riding, and 300 miles a day will be pretty easy riding.
I'm sick with jealousy! Like a dummy, I work 7 days a week every summer. Man, this trip sounds like a real hoot! Been out Co. way a number of times(hunting). Definitely God's country! Ya gotta try and fit in Garden of the Gods and Buena Vista.(don't think I spelled that right). Don't run down any elk in Estes Park. LOL. I hope y'all have a great time. / A working stiff from N.Y. P.S. This may be dumb ? Never tried a harley up Pikes Peak (or any true mt's). How do they handle the change in altitude? ( Carb.)
Those are the dates. We are in the lodging, final route stages at this time. Look forward to meeting you and offering an enjoyable experience and ride.
