Decal Removal
Hey guys I want to remove the tank decals from my 2010 48. Any ideas.

If I'm not mistaken, the decals are applied over the paint, then both the paint and decals are clear coated. So there's no real "easy" way to remove them that doesn't require the removal of the clearcoat...

The decals are buried in the clear coat. You either have to live with decals or a new paint job.

There isn't any way to save the paint. Bite the bullet and do a paint job or suck it up and learn to live with the ugly graphics.

I seem to recall a member telling us that the graphics on recent bikes are not decals, but are sprayed in some clever way direct onto the colour base. So as already advised, they ain't removable, nor obtainable as spare parts.
