Default My New Sporty 48

Last night I bought a 2014 48 in Vivid Black. This is my 4th Harley and I currently have a 2014 Ultra Limited. I just wanted to get a cool looking fun bike for riding around town and what not.

I have been reading up on the 48's on here, chopcult and pretty much every other forum out there.

Not planning on a lot of mods (Yet). I do know 2 that will be doing here very shortly.

1. A different seat,as everyone knows the stock one blows. Haven't narrowed it down as to what seat yet.

2. Different Bars are also that list. I am leaning towards Biltwell Zed bars and I like the look and I am not really one for Apes. But just a little taller bar would be good.

3. and possibly one of the LED headlights that Harley has. I really like the one on my Ultra Limited.

I'll be posting more photos as I get them, and also updating the progress of my bike.

It is a fun little bike, need more seat time for sure.

I'd love to get a 48 as a 2nd bike. I'd try the HD turn-signal mirrors (downwards as the stock 48 has) to get rid of the turn signal pods on the bars and use a speedo relocation kit - would end up with a cleaner front end.

Nice! Cannot be beat for around town...

Don't forget about some slip-ons...

And removal of reflectors (but that's just me)!

Does HD make a mirror/auxiliary turn signal for the 48? I haven't seen one.

Very cool...congrats on your purchase.
After selling my beloved sporty at the beginning of this year, I see more kickass sporsters than ever before. Makes me miss mine.
