Default 2012 72 with Frankenstein trike kit how to value it

My grandfather has a sportster 72. I was to receive it upon his departure of life. Well he recently converted it to a trike. I have no interest in the trike and would rather sell it to give some extra money to my grandmother for her future care that will be needed. Since the trike install a few months ago I can't figure how to value it. I know the bike w/o trike would be between 8-9k. Has less than 1k on bike since it was purchased new. Anyone who has bought or sold one got any ideas.

Well, depending on which kit he went with I'm sure he has over 6K in the change over. My wife wants to do the same thing once I buy a Wide Glide next year.

I would say put a price of about 13 to 14K on it.

I need to get some yet. Its few hours away so trying to get some from when he got it done. I'm going to call the dealer who did the conversion and sold him the bike to see if they have interest. I was thinking of starting at 15 and being content at 12 bottom dollar. So the 13-14 is close to my thinking as well. Bad time in Midwest to try and sell. Its also a much narrower market yet unique and more valueable than if it was still 2 wheels. If I had room and time I would convert it back but not worth it and rather money be there for my gma. The money isn't needed today per say but assisted living will drain a well funded account rather quickly.

He said it was close to 8k installed. I will have to find out if it got raked trees and anything else as well. You will like going to wide glide from sporty. I know I am loving my wide.

Is your Grandfather still alive?
If so, don't you think all of this is a bit premature?
Just sayin'

If you call living in hospital bed with days left wishing for death alive. He asked I follow through with request. Thanks for trolling.
