Default 10 inch apes for $100 Should I buy?

I have the chance to buy some 10 inch mini apes (harley brand) and cables for $100. Here is the major question. I have the stock 09 iron bars on it right now I feel like I lean forward about 2 inches. The purpose of buying these bars would be for a more upright seating position. Would this accomplish my goal? Is there a way to check it? Have never changed bars, but pullback and riser...... just don't understand all that.

That is exactly what I'm about to do to my iron. You can position the bars so that you are leaned back more if that's what you want. Im about to spend over $200 on my set up. I would jump on that deal.

You don't need new throttle or clutch cables, so I would sell those if they are included.

I called him, I hope they work for me. I am just tired of leaning over the bike. I want to sit more up right. I am adding bags this week. I just want a comfortable cruiser without spending a ton of money. I ride 50-75 miles frequently, and if i can get the bars right, I think it will be awesome

Do I need to change the cables for these? He supplied cables he said came off a 2012 nightster. It looks like they will fit without

You should need a brake line and extensions for the wiring for the controls (turn signals, starter, horn, etc) and the turn signal lights.

50-75 miles is my daily ride. I have felt the same way on my sportster. I don't mind the more aggressive riding position but it would be nice to lean back and relax a bit for a bike I commute on so much.
