Shocks? Hagon Nitro old chap. I actually have their 'ordinary' shocks on my SuperLow, but am thinking of upgrading to Nitros. Don't pay through the nose for imported shocks!

Thank you I have looked at the Hagons & did like what I've read about them.
I've also heard good things about Progressive Shocks?

Progressive shocks are popular on HDF, but be wary of prices here in the UK, as the import duties and VAT add significantly to their cost, compared to USA prices. That's why I suggested Hagons!

I installed 13" electra Glide air shocks on the rear of mine , a bit tall , but much better ride.
I then installed roadster damper tubes (2" longer than stock) and Progressive replacement fork springs.
Street Glide shocks might be better for most riders , they are 1" longer than stock shocks , mine are 2" longer.
With the roadster damper tubes , the forks "can" operate at a 2" longer length.
My plan was to increase ride height by 2" for the longer travel , and better ground clearance in turns.
Even a 1" increase will improve the ride quality quite a bit , but 2" is just beautiful.
The damper tubes # 45925-09
Progressive springs # 11-1527 spcers cut to 2.5"
Electra Glide shocks # 54565-97
BelRay Fork Oil 7wt set to 6.340" oil level
Napa tank valves 90290 for the rear shocks.

I had to extend the jiffy stand 1" temporarily for height , when I finalize the mods , I will find a proper jiffy stand number that is proper for height.

We visited the bike show at the NEC Birmingham yesterday and talked to the chap on the Hagon stand. The Nitros are beefy things I must say! Compared with the cheaper model they have a more advanced damper design, for improved ride control, the spring collars are threaded, for improved setting of sag and they also have a 10-position adjustable damper. A snip at £370! They look good in stainless and plain aluminium.

Thanks for all the advice chaps much appreciated.
I have just finished fitting all the new stuff.
Went with a set of Hagon's for the rear & a set of progressive springs on the front.
The rears are a straight forward swap 13" eye to eye.
The front end has had a bit of love showen to it.
I think there must of been a shortage of grease when Harley put the front end on in 2010!!!
The front spindle was bone dry!!
Anyway off with the forks drained down overnight.
In with the Progressive springs some nice fresh 15w Silcolene fork oil I went for 12oz to start with & will see how things are after a few hundred miles.
All bolted back up & out for a test ride.
Well all I can say is she's a different bike now gone is the harsh clunky front end.
The bike holds the road so much better with no bottoming out no matter how hard I tried.
It's night & day better over the standard set up & well worth the effort & cost.
