Exclamation Trouble starting!!!

So i have an 09 883 and i recently took it for repairs and work to and HD dealership. the work was great only now it doesn't start with just the switch, if the bike is in neutral i now have to pull in the clutch and then start it up... is this something i can change back by myself? or what? before the bike used to start with just starter.

any advise is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like the neutral interlock switch isn't working.
The bike normally requires that the bike either be in neutral OR the clutch be pulled in. If either the clutch or neutral interlock switches fail, the other must be used.

Talk to your dealer, they may have disturbed something and can fix it quick.

I don't know if you got this fixed already but take the bike back to the dealer. More than likely they caused the problem and at the same time it shouldn't cost you anything for there mistake.

Thanks to all who responded, I learned a lot, like neutral interlock... taking it back to the dealer this week!
