Xl 1200t Hi Flow Air Cleaner

There are only a few companies making true performance intakes anymore.
DK Custom
NRHS
Hammer
I don't know of any others.
Pushing blow-by back into the air cleaner is counter productive to performance. What comes out of the breathers is primarily exhaust and oil.
It is also hot. Engines perform better with cool dry air and gas...not hot oily air and gas.
Additionally the exhaust gas has a lower oxygen content, displacing oxygen on each combustion stroke. Another performance robber.
Oil will build up carbon deposits on the pistons, leading to pinging/tuning problems down the road.
It's just a bad idea...the only upside is you make the EPA happy.
We offer 3 main types of Air Cleaners. Each one has many different options that you can choose from. If you click the names they will take you to our website. Also there are some picture examples.
1. Outlaw Hi-Flow 587
2. Outlaw Hi-Flow 425
3. Outlaw Hi-Flow 636

I bought the Hurricane flow, very happy with the quality and performance plus good customer service on the order.
I installed a chrome vent bypass (also from NRHS) with a stainless braided hose running down below the belt, works good.
I originally went with it because I thought I wanted to keep the ham can cover but once I installed it I just polished it up and showed it off.
There is a closeup pic in my gallery.

I wish I would have stumbled across this before I ordered the SE. Looks like it will be heading to eBay!

I have a Screaming Eagle "Heavy Breather" intake on it's way to my house as I type this (supposed to be here Wednesday) but after reading this excellent post, I just ordered the Outlaw Hi-Flow 587.
