Default Rust in Cycle Shack mufflers

I am getting a set of 3" slash out Cycle Shack mufflers for Christmas and noticed that the baffles on the inside already have rust spots on them. Having never purchased slip ons before, is this a common thing? By the way, the chrome on the outside looks great.

Yes, it is common for baffles to get some rust spots on them. Once you're riding, they will carbon up a bit and it will not continue growing.

If you look at new bikes with stock mufflers in a dealership, you can see a lot of them have rust spots here and there.

btw, what are you doing looking at your xmas gifts Before xmas?
