I can't keep my grand daughter away from my Sportster when she's here. What she doesn't know, it's going to be her's when she turns 16. I still have 7 years for that. LOL

This was what the grand kids got 6 years ago for Christmas. The oldest was 7. Now that she is 13, she went with me to the local stealer and proceeded to pick out the new (2009) Wide Glide that she wants for Christmas this year. I told her that she couldnt ride until she got her license and learned to work on it herself and my son proceeded to inform me she helps him with oil changes and tune ups now.

Now, the old softy that I am when it comes to my grand kids, she is getting the bike but it stays at our house until she gets her license. Of course I will have to ride it to keep it in good shape.

My daughter wanted my 883 as soon as she saw it. When she rode it (that's her, in the avatar), she agreed I could sell it and just paint the 1200 red... At least her kid doesn't care what color it is as long as he gets to ride on it.

Priceless!
My 3 year old boy runs and brings his broken toy cars and bikes and starts dipping his hands into my tools to "fix" them the moment he sees me working in the garage.

When my grandsons are over I have to hide the never seize , you know what I mean.........
The little gearheads love to help grandpa though.
I try to teach them something every time they're over , someday they will stop listening , or not I hope.
