Default SLV's 2015 883 Iron Cafe Project

I bit the bullet and bought s brand new Iron to make into a cafe bike. I've loved cafe and tracker style bikes for many years. Now I'm finally in a position to have two bikes. I ride daily and don't have s car, so a project like this requires s two-bike stable.

Anyway, here is the Pinterest pin.

I'm at a stopping point waiting for parts, so the process will be stagnant for a week or so.

My parts shipped today. Probably 5 or 6 days from SoCal to Savannah.

In the meantime, I've added a bunch of photos to the Pinterest page. Mostly kit parts and additional non-kit stuff that I'll be installing.

Looking forward to seeing your build SLV! I'm still mad at you for selling your dyna but this looks like it will be a nice build too. I don't have pintrest and when I pull up your page it keeps throwing pop ups on the screen so I can't see ****. Post up some pics when you can. Any motor work planned? 1250 would be sick

A Dyna is just a fat Sportster! LOL! Yeah, I miss it, but it wasn't right for the long rides, so the BMW is my traveling bike.

I'll get pics up tomorrow. I didn't realize that people couldn't see Pinterest with an account.

Removed some junk.

Cut the struts.

New AC

Playing with a paint idea

Looking good man. What exhaust are you going to run? Does anybody make clip ons for the sporty front end?

Thanks a lot.

The pipe is from DP Customs and is identical to this one.

Clip-ins are available, but I'm using clubman bars. Same hand location, but a full bar that uses the tree mount. Like this.
