Default New Gas Tank

I own a 2012 XL 1200 N that has a 3.3 gallon tank. Love the bike, just getting tired of filling up every 100 miles. I would like to extend the range and have found that Paughco sells a 5.0 gallon gas tank, but have some questions. Would like to hear some reviews about the tank and how easy it would be to install? Thanks for the help.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too.
First, I must say I do not give a crap how my bike looks like, I have no mods that "improve looks".
However ... after a buddy of mine purchased an '08 Sportster with 4.5 gallon tank I realized I will never part with my peanut. His bike just does not look right. I will gladly fill up in every 100 miles after seeing his bike.

100 miles isn't bad...be happy you don't have the 2.1 tank! I do know what you mean and I can stretch it a further than 100 miles, but around the 90 mile I start looking and by a little over I'm ready to stop anyway. That and you can't beat the looks of the smaller tanks, like Von said, the bigger tanks don't look as good.

The bigger tank is a dished tank shaped like the 2.2 gallon and 3.3 gallon tanks.
