Anyone have tank lifts without the wire tuck????

Thanks! Tank lifts are gross, if I've steered you away from one then I've done well today lol
Here's a link to a write up how-to. Its a bit time consuming and will take a little trial/error but well worth the work.

hey man, i did this successfully. i had to remove all of the plastic connectors and connect the individual wires by hand. put a piece of heat shrink tube on the wire, connect it, throw a little solder on there and heat the shrink tubing. i had to get creative and fan them over the backbone, but they fit without a tank life. but only just. it's very snug under there and a have a nice little gap without the plastic chunk. not a fun or easy job, but i did it in my bedroom over the course of a week one winter.
