3 years for me. And that would have been back in the '80's. I've owned Talulah, my current Sporty, since August 2012, but she's going up on CL in the Spring. Not sure what I'm going to replace her with, but I'll find something else during the next Winter Doldrums.

I've had Zenaida, my 82 Honda for 2 years now. She's going to be my commuter bike until I can get a replacement of some sort for Talulah. I had to replace the engine on her, though, shortly after I bought her, so she hasn't seen quite as many miles as I would have liked. We'll see how well she holds up during the summer as my sole rider.

I bought this '82 CBX new in '85 and had it 13 years, I sold it when my son turned 16 to not have to argue about it. I sold it to a Japenese guy working at Honda(Marysville) that always dreamed of having one, for more than I paid. It would be worth 3 times what I paid today.

Bought my first bike, a 1982 Honda CB450, for $600 in 1998. Still have it. So 17 years so far is the longest I've owned a motorcycle, but it gets longer every day.

I've had my '07 1200R since '09 and don't intend to sell it any time soon, so we'll see how long that one can go as well.

Bought my 1979 FXEF in 1980 ... and it still picks 'em up and puts 'em down. Sold my 1992 FLHTCU last year after 21 years.
