run brake turn help

i ordered what i thought was a direct replacement for the factory set of rear lights. the factory set up is a 3 wire set up and the new ones are a 2 wire set up. i can get them to be either run or turn but is there a way to mod them or wire them to do all 3 like i want?

Harley makes a module that does this, so does kuryakyn they sell for about eighty bucks.
You can also do it with a series if relays and diods.

What kind of bulbs are in the lights, led, 1156, 1157?

I can't find any bulbs with that number, but it looks like a single element bulb, he is dual element that is why it is three wire.
Yours is two so black is ground red is for hot.
The modules that I posted should work but you need to do your homework.

Well then it is grounded to the frame. If I was you I would pick up the connectors from HD so that you can just plug it in.
You can test it in your battery, I like to use jumper wires, but just touch the hot to + and ground it to your frame.
