Default Any recent hard tail conversions?

Was curious if there are any recent hard tail conversions going on? Also if maybe anyone has started out with a complete frame from led sled or another company and built up a chopped hard tail sporty? Looking for some real world feedback on this, tinkering with the idea to get me back on two wheels..........

Wondering if anyone has experience with this and can offer any insight?

Thanks
FM

Better to hit up Chop Cult. This forum is more the bolt on custom crowd. I hang out here because there are good peeps. Chop cults full of self righteous d bags but, a lot of them have tons of knowledge. Here's mine. David Bird weld on.

Lundee,

That's nice brother. Yeah through google searching bikes from the led sled website I came to find that website. I signed up but waiting for my account to be approved. Your's is looking killer, can you offer more details on it?

I'm debating new bike later this year, or a used sporty to hardball and chop up. Torn on it because it will be my only bike and I like to put the miles on.

Thanks

Check out halfey bros hardtails. I wouldn't buy mine again, other than its dirt cheap, & you can reuse your axel and hardware. it's super wide. Led sleds are also super wide in the rear. A lot of dead space.
Mines a 4" stretch 2" drop (doing it again I'd go 2" stretch 2" drop.
Its my other bike although my Softail rides like ****, I couldn't imagine riding this rigid more than a few 100 miles a day, but I'm 37 too.
