Yeah the slip ons seem like the best choice for the sound enhance without having to drop $1200. The fuel tune was the only thing holding me back from the upgrade but if I can just slap them on like y'all are saying then I'll be happy with that! Thanks again everyone. I couldnt find an answer to that question anywhere.

I'll have pics up of the bike soon! And even faster when I get the upgrade!

I have a '14 48 and put a set of the Cycle Shack slip-ons on mine. Not only are they very inexpensive to the rest, but they look stock as well. I'm very in tune with sounds and it irritates me to hear a bike that sounds like ****. I love loud, but clean. The Cycle Shacks are really good. I wasn't disappointed at all and I put them on after having a set of Ground Pounders on it (google em), so I'm not just comparing to stock. I did buy a set of XIED's from DK and installed them because I put on an air intake as well.

Congrats on your bike! Can't wait to hear about your modifications

I just ordered a set of Q/W 258s The 158s did nothing. Too small for 3" pipes I guess. I am kicking around Veids and an Air Kit. Looked at the front and have no idea where to tie that one up off the 02 Bung Had a PV2 on my last bike but it's a waste without wide band o2 sensors. Made a nice gauge set though.

My question is, is it mandatory to do the download or tune with just slip ons? The only thing I'm on the fence about is the cost... I'm only considering the slip ons because it seems to be a cheape route.
Congrats on the new ride!!!

Probably the least expensive way to go will give you a great HD sound AND the best power. Check out the two vids below for a couple of options.

Kevin, thanks a lot for that information. I checked out the DK website and yall sure do have some goodies on there! Do you guys have the mapping for my bike already? I'm highly interested in the Performace plus stage 1 kit and possibly the inserts for the pipes. Really can't say no with that price and the sound they produce lol I guess the only other thing is be worried about is voiding the HD warranty on the bike by doing the tune myself
