I only ask more experienced riders out there for suggestions on their guidance for changing the stock ones. Thanks

I have the Rush Short Series pipes in black on my 883R. They're a great value and are offered in straight or slash cut ends. I opted for straight as they're slightly shorter overall.

Many on here will agree that for the price Cycle Shacks are hard to beat. They are very loud. I wear ear plugs when i ride even though they sound awesome

I like the Samson street sweepers but just buy the V&H short shots and get it over with.

What year is the bike?
Previous to 2014 there are about 400 different exhaust combos to choose from.
Is there a "look" you're after?
A little louder than stock , or really loud.
I did something like this on my stockers , it sounded pretty cool and not overly loud.

I didn't have catalysts though.
Here's an interesting comparison of some popular slip on mufflers.

If you do find something you like , check the classifieds here and see if you can purchase used ones.
I've had nice used mufflers on my last 3 bikes and saved a ton of cash.
More info please.

I also want to point out that I didn't like the way they flared out at the bottom. I called them and they modified them for me. Great customer service and fast. I think maybe a month .

Wow that's awesome! The guys that make the Patriot Defenders are not willing to modify the pipe for me at all. I woulf like it to have a slight up sweep to have better clearance and they said they do not do custom pipes. I think if you pay for a product like that they should be willing to make it fit the way you want. I liked the price of these pipes but after the first set didnt fit due to the O2 bung being welded on at the wrong angle and causing the O2 sensor to hit the front motor mount, I would appreciate better customer service and relations like those guys you delt with.

Sorry OP didn't mean to hijack your thread.
